Stagecoach South Western Trains is the registered company for South West Trains running 1,675 trains every weekday, serving 215 stations and employing around 5,200 staff.
London Waterloo is the hub of our network and connects to London Waterloo East, with South Eastern serving Kent, South east London and part of East Sussex. It is also home to London Underground serving the Northern line,Bakerloo line, Waterloo & City line and Jubilee line.
Approximately 160 million passenger journeys a year are made on our routes through Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Devon, Somerset, Cornwall, Middlesex and Greater London, serving a mixture of commuters and longer-distance travellers. Since taking over the franchise in 1996, we have added in excess of 12,000 additional peak seats. Over the same period, the number of trains we run has increased by over 1,000 trains per week, which equates to a 10% rise since franchising.
The Island Line is also operated under Stagecoach South Western Trains limited and operates train services on the Isle of Wight.
