To continue your journey to or from the Channel Islands or the Isle of Wight, we offer combined train and ferry tickets with four major ferry operators.
Buying your tickets
You can purchase both your ferry crossing and train ticket on line using our ‘Tickets and train times’ box on the right for journeys to the Isle of Wight. Simply start by entering your origin station in the ‘From’ box, and then select your final destination in the ‘to’ box. Alternatively, you can buy them from any staffed South West Trains station or through the Customer Service Centre.
Wightlink services include:
- Portsmouth to Ryde Pier Head
- Lymington Pier to Yarmouth
Redfunnel Ferries services include:
- Southampton to West Cowes
- Southampton to East Cowes
Hovertravel services include:
- Portsmouth & Southsea to Ryde

- Poole/Weymouth to Guernsey/Jersey (Please note that we can only sell these tickets through a ticket office or our Customer Service Centre)
