Major engineering work will affect services throughout the South West Trains area on Sunday and all passengers should check journey details before travelling.
The lines between Clapham Junction and Barnes will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday. All lines in the Barnes area will be closed on Sunday. Trains between London Waterloo and Reading, also London Waterloo and Windsor will be diverted via Wimbledon and Kingston with longer journey times. Other services to Kingston via Richmond and Weybridge via Staines will run to revised timetables. Replacement bus services will run between Clapham Junction and Barnes on Saturday, and between Clapham Junction and Richmond / Kew Bridge on Sunday. Queenstown Road station will have no service and passengers should use other stations nearby.
The lines between Eastleigh and Fareham will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday. Train services will be diverted via Southampton Central. Replacement bus services will serve Hedge End and Botley.
All lines in the Woking area will be closed Sunday until mid-afternoon. All services due to pass through this area during this period will be altered. Some trains will run via alternative routes with longer journey times. Others will be replaced by buses for part of their journeys.
The lines between Salisbury and Warminster will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday. There will be no South West Trains service to and from Bristol. Replacement buses will run between Salisbury and Warminster, connecting with First Great Western trains onward.
