Wimbledon area
Some lines will be closed in the Wimbledon area from 2300 each evening from Monday to Thursday. Trains passing through this area may be delayed by 5 - 10 minutes as all trains must share the lines which remain open.
Overnight engineering work elsewhere will affect the services shown below:
2120 London Waterloo to Yeovil Junction (Monday to Thursday) will only run as far as Salisbury. A replacement bus service will run from Salisbury to Yeovil Junction.
2230 Exeter St. Davids to Salisbury (Monday to Thursday) will only run as far as Yeovil Junction. A replacement bus service will run from Yeovil Junction to Salisbury.
2305 London Waterloo to Poole (Monday to Thursday) will only run as far as Southampton Central. Replacement bus services will run from Southampton Central to Poole.
2345 London Waterloo to Portsmouth & Southsea (Monday to Thursday) will only run as far as Petersfield. A replacement bus service will run from Petersfield to Portsmouth & Southsea.
0005 London Waterloo to Bournemouth (Tuesday to Friday) will only run as far as Southampton Central. Replacement bus services will run from Southampton Central to Bournemouth.
0030 Eastleigh to Portsmouth Harbour (Tuesday to Friday) will only run as far as Fareham. A replacement bus service will run from Fareham to Portsmouth Harbour.
0040 Woking to Alton (Tuesday to Friday) will only run as far as Farnham. A replacement bus service will run from Farnham to Alton.
0042 London Waterloo to Strawberry Hill via Wimbledon (Tuesday to Friday) will be diverted after Clapham Junction and will run non stop to Strawberry Hill. The train will then run to Kingston before returning to Strawberry Hill. A replacement bus service will run from London Waterloo to Strawberry Hill, calling at the normal stations for the train.
0105 London Waterloo to Southampton Central (Tuesday to Thursday) will not stop at Wimbledon or Surbiton and will only run as far as Basingstoke. Replacement bus services will run from London Waterloo to Surbiton, from Wimbledon and Surbiton to Woking and from Basingstoke to Southampton Central.
0105 London Waterloo to Southampton Central (Friday only) will not stop at Wimbledon or Surbiton.
Replacement bus services will run from London Waterloo to Surbiton and from Wimbledon and Surbiton to Woking.
0400 Guildford to London Waterloo via Woking (Tuesday to Friday) will not stop at Surbiton or Wimbledon. A bus service for Surbiton and Wimbledon passengers will run earlier than the normal times from Guildford to Clapham Junction.
Bus: Guildford 0310, Woking 0330, Surbiton 0400, Wimbledon 0422, Clapham Junction 0437.
0425 Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo (Tuesday to Friday) will start from Havant at 0446. A connecting bus will run earlier than the normal times from Portsmouth Harbour to Havant.
Bus: Portsmouth Harbour 0403, Portsmouth & Southsea 0410, Fratton 0415, Hilsea 0425, Bedhampton 0435, Havant 0440.
0440 Havant to Portsmouth Harbour (Tuesday to Friday) will be replaced by a bus service running earlier than the normal times.
Bus: Havant 0427, Bedhampton 0432, Hilsea 0442, Fratton 0452, Portsmouth & Southsea 0457, Portsmouth Harbour 0504.
Overnight services between 2300 and 0530 are always liable to alteration, either for planned overnight maintenance work or to allow emergency repairs to be made to the railway. This may require services to be altered or replaced by buses at short notice.
If you intend to travel after 2300 or before 0530, you should check your journey details for late alterations before setting out.
