Children travel for £1

Up to four accompanied children can travel for just £1 each, off-peak. Terms and conditions apply.

£5 First Class upgrades

Treat yourself to a First Class upgrade‡ when travelling at weekends and on public holidays for just £5 single or same-day return (children £2.50). Terms and conditions apply.

Gold Card holders who travel regularly with us receive six free tickets every year.

Dedicated Gold Service helpline

For questions about the Gold Service programme including prices, refunds, changeovers, lost tickets and the latest news on promotions and special offers, call our dedicated helpline service on 0845 607 9999, open 7am to 9pm (Mon-Fri) or 9am to 5pm (weekends and public holidays). Calls are charged at local rate. Or contact the helpline by email at goldservice@swtrains.co.uk. Membership of our Gold Service is only for Gold Card holders who buy their tickets at South West Trains outlets and use our services. Once you have filled in an Annual Season Ticket application form, you will be enrolled into the Gold Service programme and sent details of membership. If your employer buys your Gold Card, you may need to contact us to let us know.

Mums-to-be

Expectant mothers who hold a monthly or longer Season Ticket are also entitled to a complimentary First Class upgrade when no Standard seats are available (conditions apply).

Renewal by phone

Complete our online form and one of our dedicated Gold Service team will contact you directly to arrange your renewal.

For ease and convenience, you can renew your Gold Card by calling the dedicated helpline service (please see details below), quoting your existing Gold Card number and credit or debit card details. Orders should be placed within one month of your new Gold Card start date, and cards are delivered within five working days.
