There are now a number of ways of buying your train ticket. 

Online

 You can buy tickets online to anywhere in the UK. Simply use the Quick Tickets box on the right to find train times and book tickets.

By the end of 2008, pre-paid ticket collection will be available from all our ticket vending machines (excluding Permit to Travel machines). This allows you to book online or through our Customer Service Centre and then pick the tickets up from the ticket machine at the station, including our new Advance fares. See here for stations where pre paid ticket collection is now available

Annual Season Tickets

Annual Season Ticket holders can renew their Season Tickets online too. Please allow five working days for delivery.

By phone

Our travel advisors are able to advise you on the best rail tickets across the UK as well as train and ferry bookings to Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Ireland. Overnight sleeper reservations between London and Cornwall and London and Scotland. You can buy tickets by credit or debit card including reserving seats or renew your Annual Season Ticket. Simply call 0845 6000 650 (opening hours: 6am to 10pm). Calls are charged at local rate.

Please allow five working days for delivery of your tickets.

At stations

As well as at ticket offices, you can buy most tickets from our ticket vending machines located at most of our stations. Tickets available include:

Most of the machines accept cash and all machines accept credit and debit cards (with secure Chip and PIN payment).  Where machines are installed at a station at least one machine will accept cash (excluding Permit to Travel machines at Beaulieu Road, Holton Heath, Longcross, Millbrook and Redbridge).

Our ticket offices do get busy at peak times so you may prefer to buy in advance using our telephone or online booking service for train tickets or to renew your Annual Season Ticket.
