Optional extras
If you can be flexible about the times you travel and can book tickets in advance, you may be interested in megatrain. This service offers fares from £1 upwards on selected routes. Conditions apply.
For £5 each way you can upgrade your Standard ticket to First Class on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The guard will be able to upgrade your Standard ticket to First Class during the journey. Upgrades are not available with Advance fares or selected promotional tickets. As upgrades are subject to availability, you can only buy these from the guard on board the train.
