Bus links continue to grow from our stations

Passengers can reach many more destinations from our network thanks to the many bus services operating from outside or very close to our stations. To help your journey planning, here are details of two convenient bus routes from our stations...

Free bus to Mottisfont Abbey and Hillier Gardens

You can still take advantage of the new bus service, launched this summer, linking Romsey and Mottisfont and Dunbridge stations with Sir Harold Hillier Gardens and Mottisfont Abbey Garden. Operates Sundays until 28 September.

Route ONE in Poole

Arriving in Poole by train and need to get to the town centre, hospital, Old Town or Quay? Then hop on the Route ONE bus service from Poole station, which follows a circular route stopping off at key locations. Supported by Borough of Poole's Transportation Services, it is operated by Wilts & Dorset and runs every 15 minutes during the day (except Sunday) and costs only £1 for a hop-on, hop-off ticket. Details at boroughofpoole.com/transportation or contact Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 or at traveline.info.

More stations join PLUSBUS

Three more of our stations— Eastleigh, Farnborough Main and Yeovil Junction—have joined PLUSBUS, the joint train-bus discounted price ticket that gives you unlimited local bus travel. PLUSBUS allows you to pay for your complete train and bus journey in one easy transaction—and saves you money too, with most day bus tickets priced between £2 and £3 with weekly, monthly and annual Season Tickets available when you buy a rail Season Ticket. Visit our PLUSBUS section to see where it can take you.
